Child and teen obesity soars to record highs globally, with more than 124 million considered overweight

One in ten UK children now classed as obese.

Health experts have called for a crack down on marketing of unhealthy foods after a study revealed that 10 times more children around the world are obese than 40 years ago.

Globally more than 124 million young people aged between five and 19 are now considered to be overweight.
